Our Vision and Values

There are three elements to the vision and values: the core purpose, the defined values and the stretch objective (and accompanying metrics). The first two define who we are and what we stand for – these do not change as the strategy changes. The stretch objective is a target we aim for under the current strategy but as the strategy changes the stretch objective will change.

Our core purpose is to ‘make it better’ for our people, customers and shareholders. In practice this means:

  • Lloyds TSB Insurance is an absorbing, stretching and enjoyable place to work, where our talents are fully developed and utilised
  • Our customers feel valued and protected and we help them get their lives back on track when things go wrong
  • We promise year-on-year growth for our shareholders and consistently deliver on this promise.
